Our Dental Care Technology
We integrate dental technology to help make your appointment simpler, easier, and more effective.
We use the iTeroⓇ digital scanner to capture a 3D digital model of your teeth and gums. This helps us monitor your oral health and allows us to take digital impressions of your teeth for crowns, bridges, InvisalignⓇ, or night guards. With iTeroⓇ, we don’t need to use goopy impressions to make a physical mould of your teeth, making your experience more comfortable.
Our clinic also uses Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) to provide your teeth with a thorough cleaning. GBT uses a dye to show the buildup of biofilm on your teeth. This gives both you and your hygienist a clear view of the areas you might be missing during regular brushing and flossing. Not only does this help your hygienist focus on the spots that matter most, but it can also provide you with the information you need to make adjustments at home.
The AirFlow device is used together with GBT dye to remove biofilm, stains, and early calculus deposits. The device creates a high-pressure stream that cleans your teeth effectively, without causing any harm to the teeth or gums. It allows us to provide you with a thorough cleaning with less scaling.
Insurance Information
We accept all major insurance plans and provide direct billing. If you have any specific questions about your insurance coverage for specific procedures, please contact us directly.
We also accept patients through the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). If you have any questions about your coverage under the CDCP, please give us a call.
Our dental clinic follows the Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide for most of our services.
